Working Terms

A signed acceptance of the estimate, payment terms and details of work is required before commencement of a project.

Work can be received by E-mail, post, fax, hard-copy, floppy disk, CD-Rom.  A local collection service is available upon request.

Normal turnaround for general work is within 48 hours dependent on task.  This will be discussed and agreed prior to commencement of a project and urgent deadlines accommodated where possible.

All documentation will be scanned using Norton Anti-Virus 2003 which is continually updated, although it will remain the clients' responsibility to ensure that they have their own Virus protection.

Final proofreading remains the responsibility of the client, however any mistakes will be rectified free of charge if returned within 48 hours.

Although we do everything possible to provide a faultless service we do not accept liability for failing to supply services through acts of God, fire, electricity, supply problems or problems with telecom links or any other reason caused beyond our control.

Financial Terms

A 30% deposit is required prior to the start of any new project, with the balance being due and payable upon completion.

Hourly services are invoiced weekly and are payable upon receipt unless otherwise agreed.

Retainer agreements are invoiced fortnightly in advance of each calendar month and are due and payable prior to the commencement of work.

Payment must be by personal or business cheques drawn from a UK Bank Account, cash or arrangements can be made for direct bank transfer.

The client will be liable to refund any unpaid cheque charges.

Interest will be charged on any overdue amounts at the rate of 2.5% per month until the account is settled.

All materials will be billed and listed individually on invoices.

We reserve the right to change prices or terms as deemed necessary providing the client with 14 days notice before implementing these changes. Changes of price and terms will be displayed on our website. It is the client's responsibility to check prices prior to placing work.

Payment for couriers and postage of materials will be borne by the client.

Clients will be charged to the nearest 10 minutes and there is a minimum fee of 30 minutes work charged on all assignments unless otherwise agreed.

Confidentiality

Client discretion is of paramount importance to us, although Confidentiality Agreements can be signed should this be required prior to commencement of work.
